Nuestra Casa Guesthouse
A dilapidated house transformed into a vibrant 6-bedroom guesthouse with ensuite bathrooms, communal kitchen, A/C, pool, and private lookout deck. The project concluded with an Art-A-Thon gathering 10 artists for the finishing touches.

Off the success of Casa Oro and growing demand, I identified market opportunities for customer diversification. This project began with a dilapidated house near the beach.
I handled all design, contracting, and quality control for this remodeling project. The project added a new bedroom to existing structure, new bathroom, new laundry and service area, and a 10m tall water tower that doubled as a lookout point and storage underneath.
I concluded the construction by launching a weeklong Art-A-Thon where 10 aspiring artists from around the world and Nicaragua transformed Nuestra Casa into a a masterpiece with custom murals in every room and common area. Each room also boasts hand woven cloths.ย
Nuestra Casa has been welcoming guests since August 2016 and it continues be one of the highest rated B&B properties in Nicaragua.
Below, you can see a video of the sunset from the lookout, it is the best view in town of the bay, we call it the Terrace of Angels.
