Ever since I was a kid, I dreamed of traveling the world. While I was studying accounting and finance at theย University of Illinois, I became increasingly involved withย AIESEC, a student-run leadership development platform.

I accepted an internship in Kenya over summer after my first year at University. This experience had a profound impact on my life, and I wanted to make it easier for other people in my university to have access to such rich experiences.

I jumpstarted the local chapter’s exchange participant program and helped send more than 50 people on internships abroad while in college. I also completed 2 internships myself (Kenya and Oman) and was a sought after speaker at numerous AIESEC conferences around the USA.ย

The experiences I had connected to AIESEC fundamentally changed how I experienced the world these years spawned a nomadic journey that continues today.

Here’s my video application for ‘the best job in the world’ back in 2006, where I share about some of my AIESEC global experiences.ย
