Oro Chocolate crafts award-winning bean-to-bar fine chocolate using rare cacao sourced from the edge of the Bosawás Rainforest. Our supply chain results in rainforest stewardship through sustainable agroforestry initiatives and sustainable community development through a micro-finance social enterprise model. We work with some of the finest cacao in the world.
We are one of few bean to bar makers who produce chocolate in the country of origin of the cacao. We do this with the intention to create greater value for farmers and with a mission to inspire greater chocolate awareness in the local community.
At Oro Chocolate, I manage all aspects of the organization that make production possible including things like: business operations, finance, accounting, business development, regulatory compliance, package design, factory design and buildout, quality control, and any unforseen need that arises.
